Question Newbie here taking an online course

    I'm taking a free online course about Unity fundamentals and the instructor is using a Mac with 2021 version of Unity. I have no clue if that makes a difference in this situation. Anyway, after learning how to transform an object, he began the lesson of applying shapes and textures. He opened a resource window with no explanation or anything on the screen explaining where it came from and he added a texture to the assets in the bottom so he could apply it to the object we had previously transformed. I have been trying for over an hour now to figure out how to get these resources with no luck and I just want to get back to this class sometime today.

    A texture is essentially just an image file, so perhaps in this course it doesn't matter which images you use? Without knowing the course, it's hard to comment :) . But possibly, you can just use images you find online for the purposes of the tutorial.
