new users, unity dash vs. google play console

For the past few days, the Unity dashboard says I have 57 new users, while the google play console says I have 18 installs. My csv data from Unity says 13 ad requests. Where does that 57 new users number come from?

 

It's possible people are not downloading your app from the play store. There are many apk download sites that upload everything that goes live on the play store.

 

Is it common for people to install and then never play? Like ten times more common than actually starting the app?

Perhaps these new customers are just those apk sites?

 

Users who delete and reinstall will be counted twice also. Piracy is definitely possible here. We only count users that actually play the app, and we don't count actual downloads.
