New to C# scripting Need abit of help

    hello guys!
    first of all let me apologise for my bad language skills!

    I am new to Unity Engine and new to Scripting aswell! i have choosen c# as my first scripting language.
    but the thing is i am looking for a toutrial, book,site (not videos) to learn how to script!
    i want a step by step toutrial because i don't know anything! i dont even know whats variables...
    buttt i know you guys are awesome and you guys are gonna give me a useful helpfull link!

    What she said.

    Be careful accepting low standards. The compiler is a bigger grammar and spelling freak then anyone you can find on the internet. Practicing getting everything exact all the time will help you in your coding.

    But it's 100% true, often the case being that for the compiler a certain word means something else.

    I'd also add that for Unity context, having a good grasp of Vector math is essential.
    They're used a lot, but depending on context represent different things (just check Scripting forums - there is serious confusion about them). Most C# courses don't cover that, since in "usual" (as in - business/service oriented) programming they are not used often. Unfortunately I don't know a good, comprehensive source for it, but maybe someone can point to one.
