Some screenshots of a new scene i quickly put together using the TC2 beta.
I actually wanted to experiment with the new workflow in TC2 but found myself spending most of the time
tweaking Azure sky, which i'm very impressed with.

    Shaders and tools:
    -Terrain Composer2
    -RTP
    -Beautify
    -Azure
    -Scion
    -Hx Volumetric camera
    -Unity tonemapping

Very very impressive! What about Azure performance cost compared with your previous sky solution?

I like Azure more than other sky assets because of the high customizability.
The gradients are very easy to work with and everything can be manipulated during runtime, so as an artist this offers many advantages, its easy to get some nice lighting going just by playing with the gradients.

Performance is mostly affected by the refresh rate of the reflection probes, same as with other assets..
In general i do get a bit better performance with Azure but i haven't done a 1:1 comparison test yet.

I have not tested this scene on mobile.
Using lower poly objects would be a good idea though.
    I have a gtx 1060 and i get +- 100FPS on average in this scene(unity5.4)
This is not bad considering that no optimization has been done, for production use
i would mesh combine the rocks etc, make a texture atlas and optimize the LOD groups, to name a few.

cant use RTP, Scion etc with mobile .... and that much grass, unlikely, I use TC2, very hard to get alot of grass to perform well with any tool for mobile and Unity these days, not impossible, but tough... with larger open world scenes that is.

Looks good for PC though. Nice work.

Not related to mobile usage, but i think uNature on the asset store might improve grass performance alot.
I have not had the chance to test it though.

umm yes it does grass does and I been a tester for bpth tools.. and a developer for 20 years... Unature is a great tool , but sadly has not worked for mobile, the developer is trying to fix PERFORMANCE issues for mobile and it dont render for many devices.... But grass has alot to do with performance issues .. You can;t have a ton of GRASS in open world games, for mobile, and if you do this is why you see them having issues, I have made over 100 mobile games.. and many open world games.

PC is another story, Unature has been working well for PC, compared to Unity grass.

WAS hoping Unature would fix this issue , InfiniGrass , was able to have MORE grass than Unity.. Grass, Trees, plants always been a issue for mobile, which is why many games do not use much of it. Mobile games are not easy to deal with these issues which is why many developers for assets don't support them or want to bother with them.. as much.
