    DOTS animation is very useful. But It make deform rigging difficult.

    LBS just needs too many bones to use.
    The Dual Quaternion has also many problems.

    EA's DDM is good to DOTS Animation.

    Both characters have the same rig structure and skin weights.

    They are just using different vertex shader.

    You can implement a character without distortion enough without extra bones.

    Looks good! Definitely would like to see option for DDM skinning in DOTS Animation.

    maybe unity should look into this for DOTS animation :)
