Hello everyone! I'm excited to finally release a very simple and easy to install particle system. I will be uploading it to the asset store soon enough, but for now, I'm going to just have to have a download link.

    VERSION 2: https://www.dropbox.com/s/8m8vpj2wz8yrhhs/DustParticlesV2.unitypackage?dl=0

And don't bother giving credit to me unless you really want to. People say that dust particles are hard to make, but in reality, you just need to think how they're made! I will re-upload the link to the package if it expires, which it shouldn't, as I don't have an expiration date on it.

    NOTE:
    This package requires Unity 5

    Happy developing, Dusker Studios

    Thank you very much!

Is there a way to simply rotate the shape of the emitter? I want to use the cone, but it's on its side by default. When i rotate it 90° the particles get streched and the cone looks all messed up.

Unfortunately this results in pink particles in Unity 2017. Does anybody know how to fix this? Unfortunately the developer doesn't seem to be active any longer (last login 2016).

Do these accept shadows? I need dust particles that receive shadows.

So sorry to everyone, I've switched accounts, this is now my main. You can have the particles receive shadows by checking Receive shadows under the Shuriken system, and changing the material to something like Alpha instead of Alpha Blended!
