New Shape spawning so far away?

    This may be a simple fix however I can not find it. When creating a new shape the shape spawns miles away and I have drag it all the way to where I am in the scene camera view. Is there a way to adjust where the shape spawns compared as when trying to make an interior and constantly try and drag a shaoe from like 200m's away it gets very annoying. Thanks for any help.

    The game objects spawn on the 3d focal point. If you hold down alt + left click and drag (in scene view), you will see that the camera will rotate around a point. The object will spawn here. If you press middle mouse button on a mesh (in scene view), you will change where this focal point is.
    You can also force objects to spawn in position 0, 0, 0. This is done in preferences:
