New on UI. Main Menu

    I start using the new unity 3D 4.6 beta. So first time i use the UI tools so far i create or trying create an simple Main Menu.
    I need some one to guide me if i´m in the right path, and see if i do right options setting in the scene, anchors if is right for auto size windows etc...

    And i forgot to tell, when creating the new Button some time don't show currently not showing in the scene.

    And how to control the "Button" via script. like the old way.
    If (Button****)
    how to in new GUI button?
