The New Input System does not take into account the windows mouse primary button configuration. Both Unity Editor and the Old Input System will swap the buttons properly when this setting is changed.

You can easily reproduce this by changing the "primary button" to "Right" and then "left clicking" any game UI element. You will see that the New Input System will still use your physical left button instead of the one you set into this configuration, while the Old Input System will swap the buttons accordingly.

This issue is mostly noticeable on left handed mouses which have their physical left/right buttons swapped.

Edit: Using Unity 2020.3.35f1, Input System 1.3.0

This is a new bug. I was using version 1.4.1 of the Input System with 2020.3.23f1 and my left-handed mouse worked as expected. Today I upgraded to 2020.3.39f1 and my mouse now works like a right-handed mouse.

Still exists. This is really "stupid". We have big companies and they have often left handed people. They cannot use our application. We are forced to use old input system but.. you can guess it. The UI clicks remain same on left click.
