New forum icons : /

Any way to get the old forum icons back?
The new ones looks horrible : p

 

Put me down for another vote. Its bad.

No, i wont. They are bland and boring.

 

Every time anyone changes even the smallest thing about anything there is always the "this new thing sucks I want the old one back I'm boycotting this new thing raaagghh aghsdgfshd" crowd. Like for example, if youtube changes their interface people will act like the world just ended.

 

I avoid facebook for about 2 weeks after they make any changes for that very reason!

avoiding facebook is the first thing you should teach everyone
So i guess you should write them a "thanks"

 

Some people have too much time on their hands. Get used to the icons - they aren't going to change because you personally don't like them. That's life.

 

Best response. Now if you just added that if they put this much energy into complaining into their projects, it would be a very productive day!

 

I don't care too much either way, but the new ones are... duller? Less exciting? Lifeless? I dunno. Not really a fan.

 

Ahh, always good to see the staff, albiet volunteer, having such a helpful and accommodating attitude towards the community.

 

It's also nice to see that the users are very busy individuals with a lot on their mind that don't really sweat the small things in life due to their pursuit of something greater.

 

Looks like there are more ppl with to much time on their hands, why change the icons in the first place?
I'm am totally allowed to have a simple opinion without having to be bashed on by a moderator : /
Just saying the new icons are very bland compared to the old, more lively ones.

 

I do like the Gossip one better...the "blah blah" in the old one was kind of annoying (though possibly accurate ).

@Virror - My status as moderator has nothing to do with my reply. You are entitled to your opinion just like anybody else. But come on, it's not really that big of a deal. You will get used to the new icons. There are more serious issues in life/game dev then these forum icons.

@Nipoco - I wish I had a horse and a sword. Would make some things easier.

 

Everyone is entitled to an opinion. Except the mods, apparently. Mods aren't allowed to have opinions.
