New Asset Store look - Can't know if there's an update

With the new Asset Store view in Unity, when we go to 'Downloaded Packages' tab now it does not show if an asset has an updated version. That is an inconvenience, why change what isn't broken? Now I need to go one by one to their store page and somehow guess if its version is above the one I have currently installed? That's not intuitive at all.

Is there a way to know when a new version is available at a glance without doing that? If not, please bring back the "there's a new version available" text.

 

Use the "Group By" dropdown, and choose "Status". Packages with an update will be grouped by the "update" status, and packages you have not downloaded will be grouped by the "download" status.

 

This is not the best way for some of us, I prefer the older way. The new look sucks because the colors are bad on the eyes when running the dark theme, as its all white and yes its not clear what has update.

 

It's confusing, but at least it works faster than it used to. I'd still like assets with updates to stand out with a different colour and a symbol next to it. Sometimes I'm just browsing to import a few things, and if I notice there is an update I'll click it then.

I'm also annoyed with the lack of queueing. Why does Unity download everything at the same time? And why can't auto-import be optional?

 

Any chance of this getting fixed at all?
