    Hi guys,
Just looking for some feedback on a possible side project idea.
Myself and a colleague are considering a survival game that incorporates the Occulus Rift. We've decided that we want to make this a co-op experience rather than a single player experience. Why ? Cz it would be awesome, thats why!!

Our development experience with multiplayer networking within Unity is very limited. We have both covered the basics, ie using the MasterServer but thats about it. We're just looking for some advice on the best approach in relation to networking. Would it be best to look into Photon Server? There will never be more than 2 players so I don't know if that would be considered overkill for a project like this.

Any feedback/advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks :)

Actually, Photon should be fairly easy to use for 2 player games and it's totally no overkill.
Virtually all but ambitious MMO games use our default workflow for "rooms" with a small number of players. It scales and you don't have to setup servers at all.
If you want LAN game, you can also get a redistributable version of the server, so that's covered and can be used/added later on.

You can contact ufps devs, they have achieved a photon Fps integration with full body and head tracking movement sync with head rotation

Thanks for the response tobiass. We are currently looking into using Photon. We had considered aiming to get the game running via LAN so hearing that its possible via Photon is a big plus!! Thanks again for the response.
