    just looked at get unity. 2018.2 got released yesterday. is the prefab thing in this one?

    Unfortunately I still have to take that with a grain of salt. The preview build is out now, and based on what I've seen in the preview build, there's still a ways to go to make sure it's stable enough for release (and potentially affect all prefabs in existence).

    So realistically I'd wait until 2018.4 at minimum before counting on it.

    Since it should be an LTS release with a focus on stability, I'm really hoping for 2018.4.
