Hello, I am developing a VR game, but I cannot test it because I do not have a headset. I have tested it for cardboard, but I really need this game to be used by a more powerful headset and with controllers. I noticed that headsets like Oculus Rift, Steam and Vive are quite expensive. Is there other headsets you recommend for me to be able to test my game in the Unity editor, that will be basically the same if tested with Oculus Rift or Vive?
I saw there is also the Oculus Go and Gear VR, but can I use them to do tests in the Unity editor? or do they require a smartphone to be used?
    Thanx

No. If you are making a game for the Vive or Oculus you have to buy a Vive or Oculus. Trying to debug when you don't own the hardware is impossible. GearVR uses a phone and the Go does not. You can make a game for either of these in the editor but you won't be able to test it without the hardware. If your not willing to invest into your game how do you expect others to?
