Hello, I am developing a VR game for the Oculus store, however, there have been some issues when they answer back. They require the app to run at 90 fps minimum. Whenever I am in the menu it does stay like that, but when I enter the game scene, it drops down to 40. Is there something I must do to keep the fps stable?? I have tried using the Application.targetFrameRate command, but still no results.
    Best regards

At first you need to optimize your scene, code, models, textures. There is no special command to reach that fps. Check profiler and analyze what is consuming your performance.

I'm developing for VR and each developed feature takes a lot of time for optimization.

Are you getting rejected with a specific error message? Have you profiles with their tools?

They just say the game must run at 90 fps, but mine is running at around 40. I checked the profiler and have been trying to optimize the scene but still failing to reach the 90 fps

As already mentioned, use the Profiler and optimize from the most resource intensive items down until you hit the target.

One big help for you is to use Single pass rendering (not multi-pass) if you aren’t already. It will help tremendously.

Thanx for the replies. So, the problem was mainly because of the grass I was using in the terrain editor. This consumes a lot of resources. Now I am reaching 80+ fps
