Need Ubuntu users to confirm (or not) a problem I am having. Thank you for your help!

This is a problem I have with Unity 2020.2 Alpha; it is described here but I reproduce the first post below so that you don't have to click. I would have loved posting images of what the layouts should look like but I am not allowed to upload more than five images.

@LeonhardP Linux Mint user, I cannot report this as a bug since Linux Mint is not one of the Linux distributions Unity Technologies supports; if I did, my bug report would be immediately closed.

I wish that the devs will be kind enough to read this and take a look though.

This is what the default layouts look like for me (new captures made with 2020.2.0a12); modifying them and save the new versions is useless, when I load them they do not display as they should either.

So what's wrong with these layouts?

I'm using Ubuntu 20.04 with Unity 2019.3 and I have no problem switching, customizing and saving the layouts.

 

You don't see that they don't display correctly? The Inspector window is huge, the scenes are tiny and so on? That's not how they should display when you select them.

Furthermore, I can custom them and save them but when I load them they have lost their customisation.

The default layouts looks fine on my computer.

 

I have no problem either with 2019.3, as I mentioned in my first post, I have this problem with 2020.2. Your screen capture was made with 2019.3. Neither with 2020.1 Beta and I didn't have this problem with 2020.1 when it was Alpha.
