Need to use both generic and humanoid animations on a character model

    Hello,

As the title says, I have both generic and humanoid animations. I am using a character model from mixamo, which comes as generic, but can be converted to humanoid.

Is it easier to go from generic to humanoid, or vice versa? I believe I will need to decide to use a generic OR humanoid model, and convert half the animations.

So far I have tried converting the generic models to humanoid, to use all anims on a humanoid model. I can get this to work, BUT, the anims that were converted make the character's feet slide around a lot during those converted animations. I have seen a few fixes online, but none of these solve the feet sliding issue for me.

    Thanks for any help,
    C

Do you have Foot IK ticked with the animator (animation clip)? That normally solves humanoid feet sliding.
