    Hi guys,

We are totally new in this mobile game development,
My team is going to make a Android and iOS game,
basically it is going to be like this one: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.linecorp.LGCOOKIE&hl=en

my question here is, what kind of database you guys usually use and any specific programming language that used as API to database?

please do not hesitate to inbox me as well,
    thank you

sqllite is one option, there are lots of things you can use. Some guy somewhere has a write up on how to use it (under windows) to query results, write to them etc.

Well, if you are using sqlite from the app, then write in a language that the device supports. So, on iOS, that could be c# or JS if the database access is implemented in Unity, or in ObjectiveC/C++ if you are implementing this natively.

Alternatively, if your database is actually implemented on a server that your game connects to (for highscores, for example) use PHP or Asp or whatever your database expert is most comfortable with, and then use WWW/WWWForm to talk to the server from the game.

Actually we're going to save our database implemented on a server like you said before,
this would be interesting, thanks for your advice, Graham
