Do you have an example file which shows you basic setup. I could have a look at it.

Ther can be thousands of possibilities.
Normally when I notice an issue like this, I accidentially forgot to deactivate a mask modifier for render mode.

Check if all your materials are applied correctly and check your bake options.
I think you want to render "textures" ,so make sure that not "full render" is actiavted instead.

Another typical mistake could be the UV-Selection.
Select the UV-Map (everything in the UV-window) of your mesh and apply this to a new and blank texture. (please keep in mind that textures are supposed to be 512x512...1024x1024...etc.)
This texture must not be used in your materials or the rendering won't work.
If your model doesn't change but the texture does, everything worked fine.

Could you share it here? I would have a look at at. Are you using the Blender Internal or Cycles baking?

I'll frequently use the same password for sites that I do not intend to spend more than a few minutes visiting and do not require sensitive information. There are also password managers, both open source and paid, for those who want to stay secure but have difficulty remembering multiple passwords.

You only have one cube in the scene that is not properly unwrapped. It can't actually work correctly like that.
As a quick solution, select the cube, switch to edit mode, select all the vertices, hit u and pick Smart UV Project. Now you can try your baking workflow again.

As long as you have a black material attached to your mesh you wont get anything else as a black texture.

follow the first two steps from this tutorial.

Do you understand how uv unwrapping works? Before you start to bake anything, you need to understand how uv unwrapping works.

    Edit: Fab4 was faster :)

What is your intention? Why are you baking at all?

Edit: What you are showing in your file doesn't really make sense in my opinion. Because you bake from one texture to the other, which at the end leads to the same texture.

This is not about old or new computers. I struggle to understand what you want to bake. Could you explain how you used to deal with it in Mudbox. I am almost sure there is a comparable workflow in Blender. What I don't understand at the moment is why you should use texture baking at all.

i want to use texture backing because i want a png file storing textures as if i do not do it it do not import textures in unity.... :(. In Maya And Mudbox.... I can configure UV in Maya sent it to mudbox and paint the model..... then we could export all paint layers import them in unity and apply the texture to model

Could you please explain your actual workflow step by step. Because again, I don't understand it and as such I can't help.

ok.....of what blender or Mudbox.... assuming blender-
    1. I create a model and edit it
    2. I go to the the texture paint slot...it says me to unwrap i do it.
    3. I make textures.
    4. I go to edit mode select all faces
    5. switch to Image Editor and select the imaged
    6
Without editing anything else I bake thr texture (selecting the textured make mode instead of Full Rendered)
    .........
    Assuming Mudbox-
    1. There is a UV editing window in Maya... I configure the UVs there
    2. I export ad fbx and import in mudbox
    3. I paint in mudbox(it also have many painting tools including layers)
    5. I goto File>Export All Paint Layers and I export.
    6. It gives me a file made which I unity can read as image.
I apply texture to material and material to model and all done from mudbox method..........

You don't have to bake the textures that you are creating. You just need to save it.

A weak computer has nothing to do with it. The reason for most computer problems is usually located between the chair and the monitor :)

Again, proper unwrapping helps. Saving the textures as individual files helps too. There are numerous online tutorials about how this works.

Exactly what I already wrote in my previous posts. Though I didn't use smart unwrap, but you could just use that one.

Exactly, no proper unwrapping, no external texture. Exactly what is needed and what was mentioned. Just check the file.
