need help with terrain

    so I need help with the terrain but I ad multiple and put then in the place but i find that when I go to add textures or hills it gets copied to all how to fix? 1 terrain isnt big enough and ive read other post and they say "should I have 1 big terrain or multi small one" what do they mean? i can only find 1 size and changing size doesnt do anything
