Need help with sprites in scene window

My daughter got my computer and started pressing buttons and am now unable to drag around sprites in the scene window. I can place other objects and be able to move them but any sprite created is no longer able to be dragged. Has anyone had this issue before and know what setting has to be fixed so that sprites can be moved around in the scene editor?

 

Did you switch off the 2D mode button? It is at the top of the scene window.

Also you might have locked the layer the sprites are on. If you click on Layers there is a little lock icon to the right of the Layer names.

 

Just checked and the 2D mode button is enabled and the layer isn't locked. Probably just gonna have to uninstall and re-install as am able to move my sprites around on another machine so re-installing Unity will hopefully fix whatever it is my daughter did.
