    1. I need help with slicing.
    2. When I click on the "slice" button, the sprites should split up, but they don't.
    3. I watched different videos and came to the conclusion that people just need to install a "multiple" sprite mod instead of a "single". However, this doesn't help me. Perhaps this is all due to an error that appears under the method, but I don’t understand what to do with it. Reinstalling the program did not help, nor did creating a new project.

If you have them laid out properly, you can change the type from automatic to grid or cell based. Then you can change the spacing and such

does it generate single sprite from the whole texture?
maybe they are too close to each other..

or test also without compression in the texture?

No, it doesn't do anything, and they are not too close to each other because slicing with "Grid by Cell Size" helped. Compression didn't help too.

"Grid by Cell Size" helped to slice this sprite sheet, thx, but I would like the "Automatic" to work too :(

Im curious what happens when you hit Slice with Automatic on. Does anything pop up in the bottom right of that window? And then if you hit apply after hitting slice, does it have them split up in the Project Window afterwards? Note, you'll still see the one image, but with an arrow that you can expand and then has each individual image.

Multiple sprite isn’t a mod you install. You click on the .png (or whatever image) while in Unity editor, and set the sprite mode from Single to Multiple (you already did this in your screenshot).

Then, there are two main ways to slice:
-Set Automatic to Grid by Cell size, slice mode Safe (won’t override old slicing), tell it how big the automatic grid is, then slice.
-Manual: Draw your own square by dragging left click across the sprite editor screen.

Automatic just sometimes doesn’t cut it because the program is trying to figure out the bounds of a shape, and that shape might have a transparent region around it. How is the computer supposed to figure out if a 10x10 ball of black is supposed to be 10x10, or in the middle of a 16x16 cell, or at the top of a 16x16 cell? They put good work into trying to make automatic work, but sometimes you just need to give the computer more information to work with. Which is when GridByCellSize comes in.

    Nothing happens :)
Yes, I know. But there are zero separate images. I tried with another 3 sprite sheets and Unity made automatic with only one of them. strange. Anyway, Cell Size method works, so... )
    Thx for help
