Need help with RAM on Android.

    Is this safe? This game is an 2D endless runner game and its kinda small game. And im afraid of how much RAM it uses. Sorry for my bad english. TIA!

    Thanks! I used sprites for my game and this game is small i'm still wondering how it use that much RAM.
    Btw thanks! :)

    And may i know whats the maximum RAM usage for android?

    If the game reaches maximum ram it will close the game and say something like "GAME has stopped working." On that screenshot it also says 1.27/1.67 so 1.67 is the maximum but you can also check by looking up the android you have on something like gsmarena.

    Unfortunately it's more complex than that Rokcet, Android (and all mobiles) memory manage running applications, so 1.27GB might be mainly being used by other applications, so as you begin to reach the ceiling of 1.67GB Android will auto close the oldest running Apps. As a guide if you want to run on older devices try limiting your running App to a max of around 100MB, I recently done a cross platform game of Android, iOS, WP8 and BB10, and sticking to a 100MB limit has served me very well so far, not had 1 crash report. You can generally go a little higher than this, but it's a good guide figure.

    By the way the Unity uses up a fair amount, if I remember correctly it's about 48MB on android.
