    Hi Everyone!

I am new to Unity and will have many basic and trivial questions.

I want to create a simple 2D game that would involve 2 players. The 2 players will see 2 difference scenes of their own, but the contents in each scene are basically the same. The idea is to let the 2 players to play at the same time to compete.

    Questions:

    1. Do I need to create 2 identical scenes? First scene for player1, and the second scene for player2? Or are there other tricks that you would recommend?

    2. For a multiplayer game like this. Do I need to define a multiplayer environment at the beginning of the building process?
    Thank you!

I think you'll need to be a bit more specific. Are the players playing on the same device? Can they see each other's screens?

The two players will play on their own device. And they can only see the screen of their own.

In that case I would just suggest having the same scene displayed for both, and for any differences you have you can simply disable or enable those objects using a script when the scene is loaded.
