    Hi so like many novice Unity mess-arounders that have been brought back to try out this amazing personal license I am having some challenges.

    My first challenge so far is;

    The standard assets are gone in this new download. I have old assets I bought and downloaded, that I hope will work but what I need most is the character controllers. I can't seem to find them or how to bring them into my scene.

    My second challenge is;

    I have followed the Unity tuts for animation and have downloaded the motusman V2 and hooked a up a couple animations like idle-jog-run but I can't figure out how to make me control him with my keyboard. I think I need a character controller. (I used to just drag my model into my controller)

    Any help this far would be great. Thanks!

    Hi thanks for the response. When I select import package all I have is import package > Custom

    I used the Unity 5 Offical Torrent to upgrade. Is there more in need to install from that file?

    You need to use the installer or asset download from asset store
