Hello all, I am a newbie hobbyist when it comes to Unity. I have a bunch of freebie assets and will probably buy some for my game as my skills improve and things come together more. I have difficulty in finding assets that match the aesthetic I am going for. I am looking for medieval/fantasy rpg assets.

Has anyone ever designed humanoid models with multiple clothing or face options? I have found some base human models, but many seem to either be cartoonish in style, or made for different game genres.

I can do 3D modeling, but I was hoping to find something already-made so I can focus on the gameplay and level design. Thanks in advance for any help!

Here are some examples of models I like in order to give you an idea of what I am looking for, art-style-wise...

P.S. I would be interested of knowing about other artists/modelers who have similar art styles to these guys. So feel free to post monsters, buildings, foliage, etc... links as well!

Mr. Necturus has a couple of nice human/humanoid characters. He is making clothing for the humans. They should match pretty well since you actually used his link as one of your examples.

I doubt you will find anything of quality without paying for it though.

Yeah, but there are not many options available now. I think I may end up using his or the Morph3D series if I get my project going. For now, I am just using free stuff. If I manage to get my project to where it is playable on a basic level, then I will look into paid assets. I do not want to invest money into this until I am sure I can realistically get something done in Unity. ^_^ Thanks for the input!

Then using the free options, no matter how imperfect, is the best way to go. Honestly, you don't even need characters to build a prototype, just use capsules and cubes.
