Need Android Game Optimization advice

    i was making a 3d game with top down camera view, I trying to add the enemy with a decent AI, but I got 2 ways of doing it don't know which 1 I should be going for,

    1. using the NavMesh feature
    2. using Trigger Colliders as the waypoints and making enemy go through them.

    which of the ways will be better to make an optimized game for android device?
