Need advice on Asset Bundles over Resources

    We're starting up a new project and discussing file hierarchy and management and I told everyone that is sounds like Asset Bundles are the way to go. I've now spent the better part of the day trying to understand how to use them and if I'm really benefiting from the massive development overhead we'll have for a small team.

    Our project is a single player PC only title with a lot of procedurally placed and modified content that will be intended to be played on gaming computers (eg not workbooks or whatever). How will our project benefit from using Asset Bundles or the Resources system if we don't care much about slightly longer build times?
