    IMHO it's long since past time Unity cleaned up the mess (and it is a mess) of having half the functionality in the editor with a link to github.

    Come on guys, great tech like this needs a little love.

    I'm going to have to agree. The NavMesh component package should be integrated into the package manager, or just added to unity as the default solution (as it's infinitely better than the included NavMesh system that ships with Unity)

    But 2019.1 is still in alpha, why rant about things like that? You shouldn't expect same experience from it than from stable releases. If the situation is same around the release then that's a different thing.

    Also, I haven't read a single comment on what exactly breaks on this particular asset on 2019.1, maybe start with that so there's at least some basis for the complaints? :)

    The 2018.3 branch should work with 2019.x. If that's not the case, please submit a bug report. NavMeshComponents will remain supported going forward and they will be turned into a package at some point in the future that still has to be determined.
