I read that the 5.6 release now supports NavMesh in the 2D orientation, but from what I can tell, it still doesn't support Collider2D and requires using meshes on your 2D objects instead. Is this correct? If so, is Collider2D support going to happen in 5.6 or is that something that won't be coming until the next version of Unity?
This is something I would also be extremely interested in knowing. Especially after the blog post specifically noted how this was a big deal for people making 2D games.
