    Hi,
    when I try to move my camera in my scene view to get a better look at what's happening. The game view rotates as well. Also when I'm navigating in my hierarchy using my arrow keys, the character moves depending what key I press. Anyone also having this issue? what to do about it?
    using unity 2020.3 LTS

    Are the same keys being used in your game for the character movement?

    Yes they are. But to my memory once you click in the scene view, it should use the input for navigating in the scene view and not the game view?

    If it worked that way, how would you be able to play test the game while looking at anything other than the Game view?

    You can use platform dependent compilation to detect when you're running in the editor and remap your inputs to not interfere with other Editor inputs.
