Nav Mesh Agent time to calculate route

    I have noticed that there is a time to calculate a nav agent path 3 or 4 seconds some times. Is there a method to speed this up at all?

    How complex/large are your navmeshes? It shouldn't at all be taking that long to calculate.

    Thanks for quick response, Its just over over a unity terrain measuring approximately 1000 x 1000

    I have decreased the nav mesh obstacle components carve radius and spread obstacles a bit more, I think the nav agents may have been trapped in between a large carve radius. I originally thought it was an issue with time to calculate a nav agents path, seems to have solved.
