Do you think there will ever be an analogue of nanite for unity? Maybe there was information? Is there something to be expected? Do you think there will ever be an analogue of nanite for unity? Maybe there was information? Should we expect something similar in the future?

Maybe in 3-4 years, we'll see something.

Something similar already exists, it's just not out yet.

Again, Nanite is mostly a workflow thing. It is LOD “solved”. You can do LOD in Unity, but you need to do every step manually and even then results will be a little worse.

Except for that whole thing of removing the F***ing drawcalls from the performance equation..

Dismissing nanite as just some LOD thing is the same as to dismiss a car because you can already manually walk..

Walking is free and traveling by car costs thousands of dollars
    Lazy people hate to walk
Forget nanite and use optimal ways to modeling

You still need to make LODs if your scene is not tiny and you care about performance.

Some sort of semi (fully?) automatic LOD generation coupled with a HLOD system, would go a long way with making Unity competitive. Or at least they would be only 1 generation behind in LOD tech.
You could potentially create super optimized and combined LODs in Unity that minimize the issue of drawcalls. Which is why I insist it's a workflow issue. In one scenario you click a button, in the other scenario you let the years go by while your hair turns white and your arms hurt from carpal tunnel from all the manual LOD generation you had to do, but hey, you can get pretty close to the first solution, you just need to do everything yourself.

And if it's not the point of Unity to provide you with half implemented features and half complete APIs and then go "okay, this is probably good for tiny prototypes, so MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. If you need anything more then YOU figure it out yourself! CYA LATER WHILE WE WORK ON SOMETHING ELSE XOXO", then I don't know what the point is.
