Hey everyone! I know it probably isn't that big of a deal but I am pretty excited that I finally released my first game! Here is the web version. Please check it out!

My next step is to try and port it into a mobile platform. I am really just trying to discover the process of making and publishing games for right now but in the future I hope to make some amazing things like the rest of the people have here!

Pretty cool, needs more enemies and power ups. Maybe a life display, so the player can see how many more hits he can take. Also a little help screen or pop up cause it took me a min to figure out that you could turn.

Thank you so much for the amazing feedback everyone. I will definitely add upgrades and powerups along with new enemy types for this and the mobile version of the game along with a how to play screen and health bar. I'm glad to see that people enjoy it.

    Very well done!
I really like the pickup and play arcade style to this game. It really is a fun game. It should lend itself well when it comes to mobile; I am picturing the game with tilt controls to steer and tap to shoot.

When I reached around 7000 points and saw the onslaught of enemies barreling down towards me I felt pumped. While that was an awesome feeling, after that I really wasn't shooting things anymore, I was dodging and avoiding conflicts. I felt like if I tried to attack I would die instantly. Maybe adding a health bar, like Joshbot5 mentioned, I would feel like I could gauge my chances and actually keep upping my high score rather than just staying at around the same level.

Again nice job on your first released game.

Pretty fantastic start for it being your first game. Really like the mechanic of rolling your ship around to move - it's not something I've seen since maybe a long time ago for a space shooter. And since you're going mobile, it'll be pretty easy to move on it.

Agree with the others on just adding more depth - enemy types, powerups, etc. I'd love to see enemies that have different flying patterns so the player stays challenged while having a chance to know what's up next (think Tetris where you can see the next piece that's coming).

Ack! My game got a two star rating on Kongregate. I guess I need to analyze the gameplay and decide where it went wrong and what I can do to improve on it. My guess is that it is too repetitive, it is just a game with one enemy type, no power ups, and no real sense of progression or exploration.

Maybe if I made the enemies appear in waves instead of continuously spawning them it would be better? Provide warp gates or something that the player can go through to bring them to other areas that change the scenery would also help, or should it have simple levels, such as level one then level two and so on?

I am wondering if it just needs to be reworked game play wise, or would different artwork make it more enjoyable as well? And would adding features and restructuring work or does the game have little hope of improving?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! Not just for this game but for games in the future too!
