My Unity 3D Animation Stories

Hello everyone!

I just started this week working on unity 3D timeline and animation. It's a bit hit and miss and some features seem unfinished, but I'm enjoying it!

Made a simple animation, based on the Fox and The Grapes story.

Next time, lip-sync!

First attempt at lip sync. Manual version, since the paid version of the plugin may not work with High Sierra. Until they get a fix, I'll try to make it myself and fine tune it.

 

Nice update! It's so much better if the lips are synchronized

 

Working on a new one, so I've changed the title, learning to use multiple tools at the same time:

- Lip Sync Pro;
- Umotion Pro;

And native Unity tools like Cinemachine and Timeline.

3D animation layering in Unity is complex but great! Animating the body, the mouth and the eyes on separate layers. Editing in Hitfilm Express the exported animation in mp4 format.

 

A small animated scene from the short I'm making. Still full of bugs, but a lot is happening at the same time : camera movement, face movement, eye movement and body movement.
