This is an easy one since I am an amateur. Why is the Scene still lit up even when both direction lights are faced upwards. How can I darken up the night scene?

Hi, these should be (un-updated) environment lighting from day-time skybox.

If you need a completely dark scene, you can try adding reflection probe(s) to the scene.

Or click generate lighting (in "Lighting" panel), but I suggest adding reflection probes.

Thanks for your answer. This helped a lot with my issue. I do not have much experience with lighting. That's why I watched some YT-videos about that topic. When generating Lighting, it does not create a lightmap.

Also, my scene have these white lines, even though it should be completely black. These assets are from the Unity demo assets "Third person controller", which is in URP I think. Do you suggest me to switch to Build-in?

In this state, I did not add any probes yet.

You can hide them by clicking a grid gizmos icon (with a Y character). It should be on the upper part of scene view (tool bar).

If you're talking about the white lines on the meshes, I think they're from the texture. You can change the texture in material inspectors.

If you are learning or doing projects that won't rely on 3-rd party resources too much (from Asset Store or other websites), I think URP should be a good starting point.

Art assets (0-code included) should work with both Built-In RP and URP well.
