My review was shadowbanned on the asset store?

I purchased an asset for $15.99. Unfortunately the creator of the package failed to mention vital information about it and I was unable to use it. I left a review stating this, and included the missing info to prevent other people wasting money. Today I go to check the review to see if maybe the creator followed up on it, but instead the review is completely missing from the asset's page now. Still available in my account so it was effectively shadowbanned. I've been using unity for 3+ years but only recently started buying assets, and if this is how the store operates I don't think I am going to be using it as much in the future. Reviews should be trustworthy, that is the whole point of them. What happened here?

No. I was upset and my tone came across as such, but I wasn't hostile and didn't use any foul language. Interestingly enough I just checked the asset again and the review is showing up again. Here is the review in question

I see, it was probably just flagged and looked at by humans. Forums do this as well, the robot flags things and posts are put in a queue for human eyes before it goes out.

This can happen for any number of reasons but usually it will be some key words used or the user hasn't posted before, or maybe even the IP? The point is that some posts are queued for any number of reasons.

 

Just wish everyone would be so honest. Most folk simply shrug the shoulder and keep quiet.
Many such assets fall into that category , show delightful outcomes with little or no tute or warnings of expertise required.
