So I've tried asking a couple questions on Answers, the first was dumb so I guess it was never approved. But my second was an actual question that I really need some sort of answers for.

Yet when I go to my profile to too if "0 Questions" changed to "1 Question" well nothing.

Why are my questions being completely ignored?

How long ago did you ask your question? I don't know how long it takes to be approved but if it has been less than 3 days or so I would wait. If it's been over a week then something is definitely up, but I don't think posting on the forums is the best way to go about it. It would make more sense to email Unity or message a moderator.

It looks like most of the mods are off playing with Unity 5. One of the downsides of a community run site. The mod queue is at 170 questions, which is huge, we normally keep it below 50.

That said the oldest question was posted yesterday, so in hours terms we aren't doing too badly.

The other way is to answer a few peoples question, or place some useful comments. It only takes 15 karma to get off of the mod queue.

(Not trying to sound rude as I don't know how it works).

But 170 questions don't sound like much, isn't it glance at it, hit approve or deny? lol.

In theory yes. In practice the kaleshi and her partner in crime recently asked us to tighten the moderation up, both in the questions we approve, and on the reasons we reject. It means approvals are now more then just a glance and go.

    Thanks for the info.

I always wondered when I first asked questions it took like 2 or 3 days sometimes lol.

Yeah, we don't want to reject posts without the OP knowing the reason behind it. We are also becoming more strict in terms of what gets through the mod queue (just because there is so much content and we need to improve the quality of UA.) Takes more effort now to go through the mod queue.
