Here you can discover my video about a 3D book I have started to create, using the fantastic Megabook and Polyworld plugins : (Look at 1080p !)

    Awesome work.

Did you have to tweak Megabook a lot to make this?

    Thanks rocki,

No ! I simply have used the included demo scene. Then I have changed a few parameters in the inspector : turn speed, size,...
The Megabook system is so clever. Can't be disappointed !!! ;-)

Again, clever use of asset store tools. Tweet your work to @assetstore so Unity gets eyes on it.

    Amazing work :)

I have been working on something similar for my RPG spellbook and compedium, but i dit not have the time to do something as spectacular yet :), your work with textures on the pages is amazing

I especially love the lava section, i imagine it with particles spreading as the page opens too :)

    Thanks guys,

I'm very happy you like it.
Yes, Particles can bring something else. I don't know how they work here with the open/close Megabook system : activating/desactivating !?!

They could be parented to the items that appear/dissapear, so would start and dissapear with them

P6r, Your work is fantastic, can you teach me how to make a basic animation? I am a novice at this.

@G3rB0 : Thanks a lot ! The animations are included in the character's packages. I just use them...

@TheRaider : I simply use the (Quantum Theory) Polyworld plugin from the asset store.

I use one of the Toony Colors Pro shaders (Normal -> OneDirLight -> Specular) available on the asset store.

Hi, I'm interested in how you got the textures onto the polyworld mesh afterwards. Can you describe that workflow? I imagine you converted the untextured mesh into polyworld and then applied the original texture afterwards.

To convert a model you need a texture on it...
So, I have used the default texture to convert a mesh then I have applied the texture again in another shader (see above !).

That's great, because I also plan on using toony color shaders after polyworld converts the mesh. So I'm glad I see the result :D

    Thanks a lot...
Simply add an object with the Megabook panel. If the object has an animation it will play it automatically.
It can't be easier with this great plugin.
Or you can play it when clicked for example (with a script).
