Well I have decided to create some video tutorials for Unity and have uploaded 2 videos in my first of hopefully multiple video series (we will see what time allows me to create). The videos can be views from this album on Vimeo

    http://vimeo.com/album/103703

This series is about the basics of the user interface. I will update this post as I upload the rest of them but here is the list of what is going to be in the video series (hope to have to all done by the end of the weekend):

    Intro - http://vimeo.com/5239551
    Layouts - http://vimeo.com/5241190
    Scene View/Editor - http://vimeo.com/5251373
    Game View - http://vimeo.com/5251931
    Hierarchy/Project/Inspector View - http://www.vimeo.com/5282289

I would do a quick video on the assets server however I don't have a test server to use and don't want to give any information about the current one I am using with a team I am working with.

I am looking for any type of feedback as this is the first time I am releasing any type of video training to the general public. Anything you liked, anything you did not like, and suggestions, what type of videos you would like to see in the future (what type of content), etc... I hope I at least do a good job at presenting the information and maybe I will be able to do more advance content and make some money from doing this.

Let me know what you guys and gals think by either replying to this thread or comment on vimeo.

Very nice job, Ryan. Great contribution to the community and an excellent resource for new users. Look forward to seeing the rest of your videos.

I have uploaded the next video, Scene View, and it is located here (also updated the original post):

    http://vimeo.com/5251373

It has also been added to the album in the original post.

One thing to note is that there is one issue I would like to point out, I called the draw mode drop down the render mode drop down and vice-versa but did not feel that required a complete re-recording of the video as it is not a major issue.

I am currently reviewing my video on the game view and hopefully will have it up shortly.

Pretty solid looking videos, I like them :)

Very good audio and video quality as well, I like to watch tutorials in full screen and these work fine in that sense also.

Looking forward too see more specific tutorials! Great work!
