    Hi guys,

I would like to have some feedback on a game im working on. I've been busy with this on and off for the last 9 months.

Game Scope : The game is a work in progress 2D Puzzle Platformer for mobile Android/IOS/WP. You have to basically find the ball in the level and guide it back to the flag. I have implemented many challenging box puzzles and tricky platforming. The game is also very challenging as it will take multiple attemps to complete the later levels.

Game State: Currently the levels are done and i still need to implement an improved UI. Add more effects i.e. when the player jumps on the enemies etc. I need to also work on the level select screen and couple of other smaller things like sound effects/music.

    Please give some feedback. Thanks

This looks awesome. Just the kind of game I'd enjoy on my PS3 or PC on the big screen tv. Hard to find good stuff anymore. But occasionally buried amidst the heaps of 3D FPS and so forth a cool game can be found. Yours looks to be one of those gems.

    Hi GarBenjamin,

Thank you for the constructive feedback i really appreciate it, I think 'Destiny' was my last FPS for the year, i love old school platformers tho...Spelunky and Terraria is among my favorite 2D Platformers which i have played recently.

As the saying goes "The last 10 % of the game development takes 90% of the time" Hope ill be able to launch in the next month. Ill post another update soon on Youtube.

Good luck with your own project.

    Hi N1warhead,

Thank you for the positive comment :)
I was actually suppose to launch on IOS first, so i bought myself a bloody 8 year old Macbook without knowing it was that old...... It serves me right for not doing enough research as im a PC person myself, long story short after initial testing on my Ipad2 the bloody thing died for good....now im left to launch on android first :)

Good luck with your game dev project!

I had the same problem with an old Macbook, so I got myself a MacMini $500 but its totally worth it, and its not $2k for a new Macbook :)

btw how much is Android Developer account cost? I got my Apple Dev Accound for $99 / year. Releasing soon :) hopefully next month :D will be my first release, gonna finally pop that cherry lol

Wow yeah I was gonna develop for IOS as well, then i do research and I'm like wow I can't make games for Iphone without a MAC.

I don't own an Android nor will I ever own another one after seeing how strong the IPhone 5's were. I was able to play games that every Droid I ever had before couldn't because the game would lag it out, not the IPhone 5, it remained steadfast lol.

Agreed, Iphone has a better gaming market. However the latest droid phones already has 3 gb ram while the Iphone 6 only has a 1 gb.....the extra 2 gb's will go a long way when designing games. Im looking at getting a Mac mini after the launch on the Play store.

Google Play Developer cost is $25 per year if im not mistaken. and you only need to pay it when you are ready to launch as you dont need it if you would just like to do some testing on the device ala Apple devices...

Im a big retro 2D pixel art nut myself, hoping to post a new vid soon showing all of the improvements. The trailer vid is a little old already....

Good luck with your own project!!!

This looks like a really fun game! And it's original, too. Which makes it 10x better. ;) One suggestion: Lower the contrast on the buttons when you press them, that way you can see what button you're pressing. Keep up the good work!

Me? Haven't started my big game yet, but I'm working on a simple sky diving game currently. I am pretty new to scripting to I am sticking to the basic stuff right now.

Also, is there any updated demo?

Keep at it, programming gets easier (i struggled a lot and im still struggling). I started a year a go with Unity, i didnt program anything before that nor did i know how to do any character art or animation. Im one issue away from my first launch. The game will be free so hopefully youll be able to download it soon and i would really appreciate feedback on the full game :)

Yeah...I wanted to make a game like 6 months ago; so I looked up how to make an fps game in Unity, but that was a stupid choice. I followed the tutorial(All download scripts, so download, and drag on) and whenever I would get an error I didn't know what to do so i kept following the tutorial over and over again. :p Wasn't till a few months ago I actually learned to script with the official Unity tutorials; I can't sit down for an hour and learn something, as I get distracted. So I learn something, go make something with it, and continue that process until I had finished the series. Now, whenever I see something in a game that's cool to me, I wonder in my head how I could program it in Unity. ;) It's pretty odd but cool.

Try to get this book, it helped me a lot especially with using 'States' as its very important for efficiency when designing a game. I made a lot of mistakes with programming when i started and even now as well, and that's the only way i was able to learn....:)
