    Hi,
Today I found something that I've never seen in earlier versions of Unity.
    It says:
"OpenCL CPU device Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4460 CPU @ 3.20GHz from Intel(R) Corporation is not supported, ignoring device for lightmapping."

Can someone explain me why this happens?
I know that my CPU is kinda old. (Please don't tell me that this is the answer)

Unity version I'm using is: 2021.2.7f1
    CPU: Intel Core i5-4460

do you have the option to switch to GPU in the lighting settings?

it seams strange that the CPU can't work with this. looking at the specs that CPU supports OpenCL 1.2 which is stated as required for light mapping.

Try downloading a previous version of 2021 and see if it works. maybe they have changed something recently by mistake.

Very annoying. I got this warning too. I'm just restarting my computer. I shut down unity before I put my computer to sleep but still it finds ways to just not play nice with my system sometimes. 2021.2.12f1
OpenCL CPU device Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz from Intel(R) Corporation is not supported, ignoring device for lightmapping.

I think the graphics card is supposed to handle this anyway, esp since my lightmap setting is set to GPU and my GPU is listed in the option for what calculates light mapping.

edit: reset didn't work. Not sure why im getting this warning now. I guess they aren't kidding about GPU lightmapper being in preview. The only thing I did different since my previous bake was enable volumetric clouds.
