Multitask out of app while videos playing relaunches app

We have a new issue.. not a pressing one but is definitely something kinda annoying. Currently if we are playing a movie using the FullScreenMovie function and multitask out of the app while its playing it essentially shuts down the app. If we multitask back into the app is relaunched from the start. Progress is saved which is fine but the movie won't replay.

I thought that previous if a movie was playing and the user multitasked out it would continue playing from where it was. Has anyone ran across this issue?
