Multiple reflection probes one mesh

    Curious if there's a way to use multiple reflection probes on one mesh, or if there's a trick to doing something similar to this. The use case here is a plane, I'd like to have the wings reflect the fuselage and the fuselage reflect the wings - as you can imagine, using one reflection probe won't accomplish this

    If you're using deferred rendering you can place multiple probes and they'll only affect the surfaces they overlap with.

    If you're using forward rendering you will have to separate the meshes into multiple parts.

    Either way you're unlikely to get the look you want from reflection probes. Using multiple reflection probes might let you see the fuselage / wings reflected in the other, but the reflections won't line up where the two intersect. Really what you want is SSR (Screen Space Reflections), which you can use with deferred rendering.

    thanks for the reply - I know it does not look "correct" but it still looks better, SSR is not an option in this case. Will check deferred rendering performance but most likely will fall back on splitting the mesh up. Thank you
