So let me start off with what my project is.

Im making a game for 4wheelin (offroad hill climbs and rock crawling). However im new to just about everything game developing related. I purchased Unity Indie and Cheetah 3D. Those are the only 2 tools I have to work with. I know nothing about scripting except for what ive played with within unity.

At this point I have a bumpy terrain made and a car model that moves and drives. I would like to add other vehicles and a person that can walk around. For the time being I can use lerpz (from the tutorials) as a character to walk around.

I need some help and guidance on where to start with networking these. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

    Thanks! :D

My suggestion to you for the moment is do all the tutorials you can get your hands perhaps create the most simplest demo/game you can think of to get a solid grounding with Unity.

as being to ambitous when starting out with Unity is not a good idea I talk from past experience :D

Keep it slick and simple for starters

agreed, It will be very simple as for now. I made huge progress on the car as far as learning wheel friction curves and gave it 4 wheel steering. Next up is simulating high torque low speed.

Networking is not the next step but being a huge part of my game its on my plate and Im thinking ahead. Thanks for the help!
