    Hey All.

It's my first time messing around with Unity and wanted to share my findings after attempting the Roll A ball tutorial in Linux. All in all it went fine and I accomplished what I needed with the exception that the much needed Ctrl + D combination for Duplication was missing. After looking around in the forums I found this workaround.

Unfortunately when I try to play the Built game I find two main issues:

    1. Choosing any resolution other than my native one will result 90% in a blank screen, or in some cases in only a portion of the screen being occupied and the rest being a blank screen.
    2. Choosing my native resolution with any Graphics Quality better than "Simple" results in a lot of artifacts and glitches when playing. Could be related to this forum post.

For the aforementioned artifacts I have a gifcast I captured where I hope you can see what I mean.

    My system details are:

    OS: ArchLinux
    Kernel: Linux 4.2.5-1-ARCH x86_64
    Unity version: 5.3.0f4+20151218-3
Graphics Card: NVIDIA Corporation GK104 [GeForce GTX 770]

Is this a known issue? Is there any way to fix this? Don't hesitate to ask me for more information on how to reproduce the issue.

I think you should attach your (compressed) project, that way the Linux editor team can test it. I'm having the same issue, but I wasn't able to reproduce it in a new project.

As stated in the release notes, the OpenGL version is forced to "legacy" mode (2.1), so it should work now. If you experience this issue in build, running it with -force-opengl worked for me.

Additionally, that flag's required to actually run a build... :p (Small bug I saw recently)
