    I'm really confused on where to start to learn networking is what I think is required for these. Does anyone have tips to point me in the right direction maybe even books? I want to make an mmo and am going to study c sharp for this but it seems I need to learn more than just csharp for the coding side of this.

    Why would you not want to make an mmo? I'm thinking something simple mostly pvp based. A main island and then they get transferred to instanced areas for matches.
