    I am going to start my first game on unity which is a real time multiplayer game for android. I want to ask few things.
    Do I need to buy pro version or any license for the whole process (from development to submission to play store, I know that splash screen can not be change). My game is almost like 8 pool ball with all multiplayer features (create user profile, play with friends, play with Facebook friends, challenge friends, leader board filters etc etc) like in 8 pool ball. I am planning of using Photon for multiplayer.
    I also need the Web and Facebook version as well in future.
    Thanks in advance.

    With unity 4 you could just buy the pun+ or any other networking asset that supported android multiplayer with free unity licence,or buy the unity pro.Now with unity 5 i dont know if you still need the pun+,because they made a lot of unity pro features free.

    The networking is free to use in both Unity 4 and 5, plugins were only free for mobile on 4, so it depends if you are loading a native DLL or not (I think Photon is not Native) so you should be fine, but use Unity 5.

    I think that might be more of a restriction of Photon, but I could be wrong, anyway Native plugins are free in 5, just not sure about Photon (I use my own networking stuff) if it doesn't work, it's because they haven't updated it yet! Best thing to do is try it, you'd only need to test one of the samples.

    Also check appwarp if you want something completely free but with a restriction of 2 million messages per month.
    About your question now,if in unity android free licence .net sockets are available then you dont need pun+!

    @Jonny Roy:
    It is rather a restriction of Unity 4 - although Unity built-in networking was included in the Indie version, the use of C# sockets was not included in the Indie Unity licenses for Android and iOS, but only in the Pro licenses for those platforms, and as all 3rd party Unity realtime multiplayer solutions I know of relied on using C# sockets, one couldn't use any of them on Mobile platforms without having a Unity pro license for the according mobile platform.
    When Unity finally included native plugin support in the indie version (which wasn't the case back in times of Unity 2, don't know about Unity 3 out of my head), we could start to offer a version of PUN that can use C++ sockets through a native plugin instead of C# sockets, when the latter ones are unavailable. This version of PUN, known as PUN+, does not need access to C# sockets on mobiles and can therefor be used on mobile platforms without having a Unity pro license.

    PUN is saying in store:
    If Unity free version does not have the restriction anymore, can we expect export option to mobile devices available in PUN free version?
