MulticastDiscovery - NetworkDiscovery replacement

Hi.

If you need replacement for deprecated NetworkDiscovery, something usable on LAN I'm offering this piece of code. It's a simple component which is using some background Threads with UDP clients to broadcast and listen on multicast. I've tested it successfully on windows and android.

For some reason this script doesn't discover on Android for me. I am calling MulticastLock at the beginning of InitializeClients. The PC side discovers my Android devices, but the Android side doesn't discover the PC or any of the other Android devices.

 

Yeah, I started to have similar problem while ago, but I haven't time to check it out. I'm sorry.
