Hello guys, this is probabbly asked alot, so sorry for re-asking if that is the case.

I was wondering if there is anyway to have two scene views. I have alot of monnitor space empty right now while working on unity projects, my current work flow has me often hopping between scenes either to ensure consistency or to add something like on a setting menu for example.

Is it possible to do this?

Also are there any better window managment systems than the default unity one, I find
the unity edit is not a fan of more than 3 montiors and is showing odd behaviour like the popout windows
all loading on the main display on some boots.

If I'm understanding your question right; sort of. You can open a second scene view by right clicking on the Scene tab -> `Add Tab` -> `Scene`.

Afterwards, you can open a second scene by right clicking on it in your Project directory -> `Open Scene Additive`. It's a bit messy, and you'd need to move one scene over to empty space to properly work on it. You can easily do this by putting the entire second scene in a root empty GameObject and moving that over. Keep in mind if you instantiate things in specific locations or at the origin that your scene origin might not be near your actual scene content if you do this, though.

When you use additive scene loading, make sure you structured your project in a way that there's no in-scene unique objects, or that one gets disabled over the other. In my example, I have a Main Camera in both scenes, so Unity will spit out notifications when I press play. It seems Cinemachine does a good job of ignoring these issues though.

I've had issues with it on Linux, but on Windows it's fine for me. What you can do, is save your layout with the button in the top right. If things go awry on startup, simply click on that button and click on your saved Layout, and everything should be back in its place.
